Unfortunately a generous body doesn’t equal a generous budget . . .

I am really hankering to make this lovely sweater.  I am not hankering to pay 350 dollars for the yarn. Its made out of a lovely hand-dyed Silk/Merino/SeaCell yarn from Handmaiden called Great Big Sea  it retails for oh . . . about $35 a skein and I MIGHT be able to get away with only using 9 skiens . . .

Now I am off to see if I can find replacement yarn - Whee!!

    I want me some o’ that yarn.
    I think I can resist the sweater for short time, but only b/c I have a hoodie on the needles right now.

    But…
    where’s the Blanket????

    I saw someone was doing it in Silky wool, I think I might use that instead. They sell it at webs, and the amount I would have to buy actually would give me a descent discount. But I can’t do it in good concience until I have a few projects off the needles.
