		<description>Certainly didn't stretch very much, I think that was my problem, I was really suprised at the stitch number compared to the finished size. I think I didn't believe the pattern over my experience.

And *everyone* needs some self-striping yarn . . .(nods sagely), its good for the soul  . . . and the stash. ;)

		<description>I was surprised by the # of stitches the Jaywalkers called for too...but after getting a few inches down the calf I found out they don't stretch width-wise like my other socks do.  Frogged that pair and haven't started them again yet.  I didn't like how my yarn looked so I "need" to get some self-striping yarn. :)  yep...any excuse to pad the stash.</description>
