I love love love dyeing. Makes me feel like I'm back in kindergarten again. I've found that it really helps to not have too many expectations as to what it's all going to turn out as.... It all comes out really different when it's spun, and then knit anyway. Love that long color progression too - those are so much fun to knit up into projects - I did a lace shawl in some silk that I dyed that way - came out beautifully. Wow - looks like you had a great time with your dyeing adventures! I love love love dyeing. Makes me feel like I’m back in kindergarten again. I wonder if the steam did not get hot enough to fully set the dye. I have seen these dyes make deep, jewel colors, but each of the times they were done on the stove with high concentrations of vinegar. Keep having fun! Great colors.
